Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Distrohead, including distrohead.com and apps.distrohead.com. By joining the waitlist or using the service, you agree to them.

Early access

Distrohead is in early access. Features may change, break or go away, and access is by invite. We may limit, pause or end access at any time, and we'll try to give notice when we can.

Your account

You sign in with an email link, a passkey or an account you already have, and you're responsible for what happens in your account. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Your content

You own what you put into Distrohead and what your heads make for you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.

AI has limits

Your heads use AI. Their answers can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything important before relying on it. Nothing Distrohead says is financial, legal, medical or other professional advice. Your heads don't buy anything for you; they give you links to do it yourself.

Plans

Distrohead starts with a free three-day trial, from when you set up your team; after it, your heads stop working until you choose a paid plan (Pro or Max), shown in the app under Settings > Plan. Nothing you or your heads saved is deleted when a trial ends. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings > Plan > Manage billing; your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for, and we don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it. Each plan includes a daily amount of your team's work; when it runs out, your heads pause until the next day. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, starting at your next renewal.

Payments

You can connect a payment card through our payment processor. A head charges it only for a purchase or booking you approve, for the amount you approve. Nod, the agentic card, isn't available yet; applying early only puts you on a list.

Published pages

You can publish pages your heads make. You're responsible for what you publish and must have the right to publish it. We may take down any page that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts people at risk.

Acceptable use

Don't use Distrohead to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• harass, deceive or harm people, including phishing, spam or impersonation;
• publish malware, or pages that collect passwords or payment details;
• try to break, overload, scrape or get around the limits of the service;
• access other people's data or accounts.

Other services

Your heads link to and draw on other websites and services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

Ending things

You can stop using Distrohead and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on AI answers, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect; using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
